Welcome to my public portfolio of selected photographs I have taken during my years in New England, New York, and Pennsylvania. My chief aim of my sharing this portfolio with you is to reflect my love of and passion for photography. A photograph is not just a ‘picture’ or a ‘snapshot’; it is evidence of a photographer’s love, interest, and intrigue of what a photograph captures, be it a portrait of a favorite pet or a fellow human being, a view of a New England green that is like no other green, a beachfront during the winter, or a few favorite trees and flowers. It is my deepest desire that this portfolio enkindle your own love of and passion for photography as you walk through my galleries.
Who I Am
I am an amateur photographer based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I currently own a Fujifilm mirrorless camera. My prior cameras included a Nikon film camera and a couple of Pentax DSLR cameras. The galleries in this webpage contain photos taken with my Nikon, Pentax, and Fujifilm cameras. The galleries also contain several shots taken with my mobile phone’s camera. The first camera I acquired was a Polaroid Swinger camera. I may consider acquiring a Polaroid camera and adding its photos to an updated gallery.
The subjects of my photographs are varied. They range from scenic views to portraits. Portraiture is a relatively new endeavor, which I desire to expand. As a devout churchgoer, sacred sites are among the most frequently photographed subjects. My galleries feature sacred spaces and edifices from New England, New York and Philadelphia.
It remains my chief aim to continue to expand my portfolio and to work with fellow photographers, both amateur and professional.
